Strong Sales Continue in the Conservatory Market
Year-on-year sales are strong according to the February 2004 monthly index sponsored by Synseal Extrusions Ltd. Expectations are even higher for the conservatory market in 2004.
Sales:
Sales in January increased compared with December with a net 14% of conservatory fabricators reporting sales up. Year-on-year sales were also ahead with a net 34% of fabricators reporting increases, compared with the same time last year.

Forecasts:
Sales expectations for February compared with January are high with a net 60% of firms forecasting growth. Expectations are also up compared with February 2003 with a net 52% of companies expecting an improvement on this time last year.The average value of a conservatory installed in January was £6,375 excluding VAT, bases and dwarf walls.
