Expectations Strong, but not as Strong as Last Year

Conservatory sales expectations remain positive, but forecasts are down in January 2005 compared with January 2004 (see chart). Sales also show a downward trend. In January 2005 a net 20% of fabricators reported growth in October to December 2004 compared with the same three months of 2003. However, in January 2004 a net 34% of firms increased sales in the previous quarter compared with the same quarter of 2002.
